Join First United Methodist Church for our 9th Annual Harvest Festival – Saturday, August 26th 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
The purpose and goal of the HARVEST FESTIVAL is to stimulate and activate both active and inactive members of our Church, attract new members, provide entertainment for our community and raise funds to carry out the missions of our Church. A portion of the profit from our festival this year will be dedicated to supporting our church youth as they participate in UMYF, Appalachian Service Project (Grace & Wesley youth included) and other Christian Education pursuits. Youth are encouraged to participate in the implementation of Harvest Festival for which each participant will receive compensation toward payment expenses for that person’s participation or toward general expenses to operate his or her program of interest.
The music activities of the day will consist of recorded music and performances from noon to 1:15 p.m. and from 4:00-6:00 p.m. by Gary Lee Ireland
There will be numerous activities for children and youth including various carnival type activities. All youth games are FREE. 11:00-5:00
